The San Benito County Free Library has collected Reading Round the Bases Program logs and given out reading incentives to Junior Giants players as part of the library’s Summer Reading Program and attended the First Pitch Junior parents meeting.
· The Bookmobile has attended weekly Junior Giants games since being awarded the Education Grant, with plans to attend weekly games until the end of the Junior Giants season
· Library has selected and ordered more than $7,500 worth of popular, high-demand non-fiction and fiction school-age titles to augment the existing youth and bookmobile collections, including titles relevant to Junior Giants baseball, including those with themes of sports, Junior Giants words of the week, bullying prevention, and the Junior Giants four pillars (Confidence, Integrity Leadership, and Teamwork)
