The Community Foundation for San Benito County is hosting the annual Silicon Valley Gives event. This event is a virtual one, where donors are asked to give to the Permanent Endowment Fund held by the Community Foundation in order to be eligible to receive matching funds from a $25,000 anonymous gift.
On May 3rd, donors will be able to double their gift.
Friends of the San Benito County Free Library have a permanent endowment fund through the Community Foundation for San Benito County and are thus eligible to receive matching funds on Tuesday, May 3rd.
Please pay attention to the "Power Hours" which are between 1-2pm and 8-9pm where three prizes will be granted for the most unique donors at the end of the 24-hour cycle.
So why should you give to the Friends of the San Benito County Free Library? Well -- the Friends work together to keep our library going, to provide volunteers, disseminate information about the library and library services and secure funding which helps programming and library growth.
