The Friends of the San Benito County Free Library received a big hand from The City of Hollister, in the amount of $10,000!
Friends of the Library deserve thanks: Harriet Brin for writing the grant with Nora Conte, County Librarian and Kathy Larabell for working on weeding out old books with Wendy Kay, a retired librarian who volunteers here still. Some children’s books dated from the ‘70s and it will be a pleasure to buy new books and media with the grant money!
