San Benito County Free Library's bookmobile along with librarian Carlos Munoz and the library mascot can be found at the Junior Giants games. Players and their families can check out books for the Junior Giants Read around the Bases Campaign. The library mascot, The Cat in the Hat, can be found at the bookmobile. The cat was asked by a little girl if they were "the real Cat in the Hat" and the girl was reassured, after which she asked for the Grinch, the Lorax, and other favorite book characters.
