The Friends of the Library recognize and honor Rachelle Escamilla as our 2019 Community Foundation National Philanthropy Day recipient. The San Benito County Free Library has been important to Rachelle as she was growing up. As an adult, she wanted to share it with other young people.  She started volunteering with the Friends of the Library by helping with publicity and our endowment fund pamphlet. She became an active Friends member and our webmistress.  Her help has allowed us to have a state-of-the art website which has reached our community in new and exciting ways. As a young parent now, she recommends bilingual story time.
